bmurator US Progressive Atmospheric Space Metal with some elements of Deathcore. This is a very nice concept album bringing to light some of the issues the World faces today (read the lyrics). There are plenty of musical passages & associations that are totally new to me. I also never thought I would hear this Def Leppard cover - thanks for all the memories... :) Thanks Endoterra! Recommended! Favorite track: Gods of War (Def Leppard Cover).

Ad Astra 04:16
An unbiased and indiscriminate annihilation An unforeseen force, a diaspora Propagandized as self inflicted abandonment Unprecedented deeds unforeseen Have led to this mission for another life Banished from a dying world We have journeyed through worse than this For many lifetimes To this odyssey we must submit This will be our pilgrimage Unprecedented deeds This will be our legacy Survival is pertinent But it is not guaranteed Searching for a lighthouse In this celestial ocean May we not drown In the depths of this emptiness To the stars, we must embark We must take flight Ignite the flames of journey Elevate this life These feelings of abandonment And this new hope This thought of enlightenment Has swallowed us whole Our old home Buried but never forgotten The memories Of everything that we tried to save We must preserve On this new flight of exploration Our only salvation
2.
Non Exieris 07:27
Do not surrender This epic rock from which we’ve carved our history Lost but not forgotten Faded through horizons of infinity Is this the path our ancestors crossed- To write the math of who we are? We seek an end To our pain Can we survive This endless abyss? To fight or flee, Who are we? Our offspring of the universe That has given us birth We were one But now we slowly say goodbye Farewell to our Earth We are the last of our kind Our kingdoms have fallen Now our time is this space The void is calling Do not surrender To this timeline we have lived through Survival in this unknown openness, this abyss We must preserve what we have fought for Do not surrender; we must preserve
3.
Apotelesma 08:41
Divine entities, the only light in these empty skies We feel your energy It is our compass through this Endless distance, seeking our terminus Our final purpose, in your eternal creation We are but a glimpse In your limitless existence We must preserve We must persevere We must conserve We will shape this frontier Interstellar giants intertwined Bound to the sovereignty of our path Not a certainty for fortune of circumstance Nor an assigned destination of our doom These majesty’s of invisible lines have surmised a destructive power, Through loathing and divisive indoctrination Our nations have succumb to extermination Does luck exist in this future ruled by the infinite? Or is there no familiar moon to pull the tide of our fate? No heavenly oceans’ current steers this course we create Is there something more to these astral bodies? A zodiacal energy, angelic beings like the ancient stories of old Guiding our intergalactic chariot into the unknown The organs in our chest aren’t unlike your inner core A fire shines in time and space until it burns no more But this day it’s bright beacon Helps us find our way Reaching for the sky, an innocent delight As cosmic lights shine so bright, We fly our final flight On this cosmic journey we dedicate our lives Can the fire of man truly die? We skip across the stars like a stone Searching until we find our new home

Celestia 05:10

Aurelia 11:34
We strive for a new world A new place to call our home This blackened sea will bring us To our terminus This journey shall bestow upon we The rightful home to our species Our new place in this galaxy We shall find the pieces of the puzzle to this universe We shall forge a new path forward This vessel will deliver Our message to the stars Our journey will not be forgotten Ad Astra! Who are we to question The judgment of the stars Is our existence merely a glimpse In space and time? No! Our destiny is intertwined With the heavens We must bring the future To our children and descendants [ERROR] [SYSTEMS FROZEN] [REBOOT SEQUENCE INITIALIZED] [ERROR] Can we build back From the ashes of all we lost? Will this celestial mission Bring life to our cause? The fire of humanity Will never exhaust Our salvation will come But at what cost? We will not die We will not falter Our fate, our future Our destiny remains unaltered The future will be met This voyage will bring us home "Captains log, number 261; Our ship has taken irreparable damage, Survival seems unlikely, And success lies just out of our grasp We were Earths only chance Have we failed? The future must be met This voyage must bring us home Per Aspera Ad Astra” The future will be met

Starscorn 07:53
Out of the dust Our journey is born, We will not be the Starscorn Though our bodies will rust, Our will is untorn We will be the Starborn Through this endless sea, We brave the storm We will not be the Starscorn Out of the dust Our journey is born, We are the Starborn This is what we have died for This navigation is our new Bible On which we place our survival Holding faith in our new trials We are the new disciples Discovery and inspiration In this emptiness The stars bring thoughts of ambition We have achieved divine intervention We will not surrender We are the angels of Moirai The stars tying the strings of fate In time we will spread our wings No more gods, no more kings Fighting for the future we deserve Will we perish, or preserve? Riding on the waves of time, Escaping Earth's fatal crime Searching for our Eden We will find the promised land Grasping to life, we must fight Destiny is ours to command
7.
Through the ashes, we come to light Under embers, we grow towards the light Revealed is the dream I once remembered The world we knew is no longer there Through the void Your name is now called Pulling towards the nexus point And now our fate Our design to align With the distant call Anointed chosen ones You’re children; We call you home Through the ashes, we come to life Under embers, we grow towards the light Revealed is the dream I once remembered The world we knew resides only in your mind
8.
Terminus 08:58
To the ones we lost To the ones we left behind Your memories live on Still seen by the blind We leave the cinders and ash Of a world turned to dust And the cold corpses Of the homes we had crushed We’ve spent centuries Spilling our own blood In the name of religion In the name of hypocritical righteousness In the flames we burn In the flames we die Will we ever learn? This our last lullaby To the flames we return Eternal voices cry To ashes we turn This is our final goodbye We have preserved We have persevered We have conserved We have shaped this frontier From the stars, we’ve come so far We’ve found our light This land is not unlike our own Fate has shined upon our plight We have found our new world Our shelter from the storm This blackened sea has brought us To our terminus We have carried the torch That lit the fire of humanity We have found a home Free from the chains of the old gods This cold, unforgiving sea Has delivered us the future We are starbound We will survive Invenimus Eden

Feelin' like it's over, Feelin' like there's no love Feelin' like it's not easy, Breathin' life in the dust On a countdown to zero, Take a ride on the nightmare machine There ain't gonna be heroes There ain't gonna be anything Oh, here it comes, here comes the night Here it comes, hell in the night Here it comes, here comes the night When we all fall down When we walk into silence When we shadow the sun When we surrender to violence Oh, then the damage is done, put away that gun I don't want to be there I don't want to be anywhere Here it comes, here comes the night Here it comes, hell in the night Here it comes, here comes the night We're fightin' for the gods of war But what the hell we fightin' for? We're fightin' with the gods of war But I'm a rebel And I ain't gonna fight no more No way! On a countdown to zero Take a ride on the nightmare machine There ain't gonna be heroes Whoa, there ain't gonna be anything Here it comes, here comes the night Here it comes, hell in the night Here it comes, here comes the night We're fightin' for the gods of war But what the hell we fightin' for? We're fightin' with the gods of war And I ain't gonna fight no more Stop! We're fightin' for the gods of war (Stop fighting for the gods of war) But what the hell we fightin' for? (What the hell we fightin' for?) We're fightin' with the gods of war Heavy

about

Endoterra begins a tale of human tragedy and triumph, as global political tensions are at an all-time high and religious conflict is constant. When all-out nuclear war, rooted in theological dogmatism, breaks out, Earth's fate is bitterly sealed. Following the tumultuous voyage of survivors narrowly escaping the war-torn Earth, the last refugees of humanity are plunged into the sea of stars using a prototype generational ship. Breaking free from the chains of destruction of the only home humanity has ever known, they must fight to persevere through an unknown perilous journey while they brave celestial storms and experience divine wonders of the heavens. Will humanity succumb to its self-inflicted demise, or is there a celestial providence ensuring their survival?
